Commitment

PackRated.com is built so that people using assistive technology can read it. The target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at Level AA.

What has been done

• Body text is set at a minimum of 17 pixels on small screens and scales up with the viewport, so the site is readable on a phone without pinching.
• Text and background color combinations are checked against the AA contrast ratio. Where the brand green failed at small sizes, a darker green is used for text and the brighter green is restricted to larger elements and graphics.
• Headings follow a real hierarchy, so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
• Every diagram is drawn as inline SVG with a text alternative describing what it shows, and is explained in the surrounding prose so no information exists only in a picture.
• Data tables use proper header cells with scope attributes.
• Interactive elements are reachable by keyboard and show a visible focus outline.
• Expandable sections use native browser elements, so they announce their state correctly.
• Animation respects the reduced motion preference.
• The site works with JavaScript unavailable; expandable sections and navigation still function.

Known limitations

• Some technical diagrams contain dense labeling that is difficult to render usefully at very large zoom levels. The surrounding prose always carries the same information.
• Third-party advertising, where present, is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
• Documents hosted by standards bodies and carriers, linked for verification, are subject to their own accessibility practices.
